HERO Woodcutter Sisters #2

Available for Kindle Unlimited Subscribers
SYNOPSIS:
Rough and tumble Saturday Woodcutter thinks she's the only one of her sisters without any magic—until the day she accidentally conjures an ocean in the backyard. With her sword in tow, Saturday sets sail on a pirate ship, only to find herself kidnapped and whisked off to the top of the world. Is Saturday powerful enough to kill the mountain witch who holds her captive and save the world from sure destruction? And, as she wonders grumpily, "Did romance have to be part of the adventure?" As in Enchanted, readers will revel in the fragments of fairy tales that embellish this action-packed story of adventure and, yes, romance.

REVIEW:
Where as Enchanted had a bit of a build up before it got to the real heart of the story Hero rushes straight into the adventure, just as Saturday rushes straight into adventure. So hold onto your hats because Hero is a wild ride!

Once again the combination of Fairy Tales was magic itself. Few fairy tale retellings could combine so many different stories and create one truly beautiful and unique tale. I was really excited to hear about Thursday and in this installment and since Trix is a main driving point of the story I thought I would be hearing about him as well. Since Saturday, Thursday and Trix were some of the characters I am most interested in hearing about I was crazy excited.  Sadly after the beginning of the novel there isn't much about Thursday and Trix. But the story was still WONDERFUL!

I did miss hearing about all the other members of the family (it seems with the woodcutter sisters when you fall in love with one of them you fall in love with the whole family.)

Hero was very different from Enchanted but it was still magical. Saturday is a force to be reckoned with. Saturday is a force to be reckoned with. Her headstrong, can do attitude is a great model for readers everywhere. And how can you not love a girl who can save herself, the prince, and the world as a whole?
